A very Oppo solution to a problem, this friend;
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Ordered a set of these mid-frame weld on braces for his Tacoma ;
And bought a 6 Sport wagon as a beater while the truck gets fixed;

He’s gone full Jake.
Also, I don’t think I’d ever buy a used vehicle where ready made weld-on braces are available for the vehicle.

Wait, so your buddies with Jeeps and Toyotas can’t go out and play? What CoFL supposed to buy now? A Passport?
;)

I bet he’ll pass, Mazda has already been in for a new coil.. I think his long term is to sell it off as soon as the Tacoma is back on the road. Tough to get a load of firewood in the 6..

Last year was the suck for us, and this year all my friends trucks are broken.. lol
(Secretly I just don’t want any pinstripes yet..)
I think CoFL needs this BJ70;
But maybe he would prefer...

Just have to buy them from AZ.
From someone who has a TJ that came from AZ and paid out the ass to get it because it was clean.
So, yes you are correct unless you really want that vehicle.

Ready-made weld-on braces because you literally cannot get a good replacement frame for it anywhere. Because the NHTSA forced the manufacturer, who fought tooth and nail against it for years, to replace frames they knew were deadly to passengers in a collision.
Fuck. Toyota.
